    ACCIONA Construcción has been operating in Mexico since 1978, as part of the company's major expansion into Latin America which began in the 1970s. Its first important project here was the dry dock of Port of Veracruz. Activities have continued uninterruptedly with projects such as the New UAM office in Cuajimalpa, the Sheraton Residential Complex in Acapulco and more than 10 hospitals, including the Hospital of León - Bajío and the Hospital of Nogales.
